Scale House at Forest Park Museum
Forest Park Museum consists of the Forest Park Museum and Arboretum, Baldwin Hall, the Alton schoolhouse, and the Scale House. The museum campus exhibits natural, cultural and historical artifacts of central Iowa. Interpretive programs include museum tours, historical programs and natural history programs.

- The Scale House is the latest addition to the Forest Park Museum Complex. Restored by architect and historic preservationist William J. Wagner, this 1880s Dallas Center structure served as his office and studio for many years. Today it houses a collection of sketches, awards and other mementos from his long and illustrious career.
