A beer cocktail made using half Rogue Chocolate Stout and half Left Hand Milk Stout. El Bait Shop has several other chocolate beer combos, including Chocolate Chip (Rogue Chocolate and Rogue Chipotle) and Snickers (Rogue Chocolate and Rogue Hazelnut). $4.75 each.
Chocolate Strawberry Martini
Find it: Star Bar, 2811 Ingersoll Ave.
Stoli strawberry vodka and Godiva chocolate liqueur are mixed in a chocolate-rimmed glass. You can eat the chocolate, but don't be fooled. The glass itself is not edible. $8.
Sexual Chocolate Martini
Find it: Cabaret West Glen, 560 S. Prairie View Drive, West Des Moines
One of the most popular drinks at Cabaret is this mix of 3 Olives Vodka, Bailey's Irish Cream, cream and chocolate sauce, topped with a cherry and finished with some chocolate sauce. It's popular with the ladies, but has enough booze to satisfy the hardiest of drinkers. $9.
Cafe Toledo
Find it: Drake Diner, 1111 25th St.
Regular coffee with a bit of Bailey's Irish Cream, Kahua and finished with chocolate sauce. The result is a sweet and creamy drink that will warm up the coldest night. $6.49.
Chocolate Honey Bee
Find it: AJ's on East Court, 419 E. Court Ave.
A quick and easy shot made with Bärenjäger honey liqueur and dark Godiva chocolate liqueur. It's tempting to down it fast, but rich and flavorful enough that you'll want to take your time and savor it. $4.50.
