Located in the heart of downtown - below sidewalk level - is Big Red's. Ryan Smithson has turned the old bar and restaurant in the historic building into an Irish-themed bar, with wooden floors, wood paneling and Kelly green walls and acrylic-covered wood-topped bar. The original brick wall on the south side is still there. Big Red's Irish Pub sells a variety of beer, including Guinness on tap. A back room has two tables for beer pong, and tournaments will be on Thursday nights and weekends. Winners get a $100 bar tab.
