I love a good Des Moines summer-our modest size city has an impressive summer calendar. Here are some of my favorites, and a few I am looking forward to doing for the first time.

Is it summer yet? Spring is so unpredictable in Iowa, an the thought of a cold beer and some appetizers on one of the great patios around Des Moines is helping me make it through the chilly spring!
