Had a great time with me and my friend last Sat night. Bartender was cool. I saw a few girls walk in alone, which I haven't seen in many bars. Sang karaoke, played a little pool, and sat on the patio.

AJ's is a lame and boring joint that hardly anyone goes to!

I no longeer go there becuse dave, the owner is brash and arrogant and says inapropriate comments in front of and to women all the time. He thinks he's hot but he's so NOT!!! Get a clue dave!

You'll feel at home the first time you visit, and are sure to come back for the good food and selection of drinks. The convenient location on E. Court Avenue makes it easy to drop in any time. It's a good place to host a group. And while the prices are reasonable, the atmosphere has a touch of class -- whether you enjoy the inside art or the outside view of the Capitol from the patio.

It's just like any other East Village bar with red walls, hard barstools, and over priced beer! I found the patons to be very vulgur and extremly annoying. This place isn't that great or friendly. Needless to say, we didn't stay long. NO WAY is this place like Cheers. Get real.

I'm a single woman and I'd be more than happy to come here for a drink on my own. iIve also dragged half my friends in since discovering the place, because it's like being in a really cool, really tricked out club house. Shuffleboard, pool, various video games, a great "juke box" and one of the friendliest bartenders in town, all in a clean and attractive space that will especially rock once it's warm enough to take advantage of the patio. It's close enough to the goings on of the East Village without all the trendy crowds. Stop by; you won't be disappointed.

I went here the other night for the first time and had a good time. One of the owners was bartending and he was very friendly and helpful. Large selection of bottled beer available and the Laotion eggrolls were great. There were not a lot of people here, so I hope people come out support this new night spot.
