The Yankee Clipper opened in 1943 and was named after a World War I warship. There are generations of regulars that come in, as well as small-town transports, who relate to the friendly, down-home atmosphere this bar radiates. They're known for their famous White Russians, as well as Taco Tuesday, featuring huge dough tacos for $3.25 a pop. One is more than enough.

Best bar and grille! Drinks are hardy and VERY reasonably priced. Best cheeseburgers around!
