Lost it's magic

Billy's has lost it's magic. It used to be a great karaoke bar, but now they have wierd crap on Thursdays (comedy or live solo artists) and the for the other nights, the karaoke rarely starts on time. Most of the KJs and bartender smoke, so you'll have a better chance of finding them outside rather than serviing the customers. The service has really gone down hill since Billy sold it. Not all of the KJ's follow rules about "singer rotation". If they like you, you might get to sing twice in a row, even when there are 20 singers waiting to sing. The KJ's also like to listen to their regular music, so they call you up on stage and then make you stand there for a minute or so until their in-between music finishes. I'm not sure they understand who the customer is anymore... The only shining spot is that they have a really good cook on Friday and Saturday nights. However, on the nights when the good cook is gone, the food quality is very random.

Amazing sound system, karaoke practically every night. Tuesdays they have a steak dinner special that was very good and local musicians play on stage. The regulars and staff were all very friendly and gave the place a welcoming atmosphere. This place could quickly become a new hangout for you and your friends.
