Father's Day is just around the corner (ahem, June 17), and Sbrocco is planning a Steers and Beers dinner just for him. You know what he wants - Brisket. Ribeye. Oxtail stew (well, maybe he doesn't know he wants Oxtail stew. But he does, trust me).
Chef Andrew Meek will prepare the four-course dinner, paired with Boulevard brews, on Wednesday, June 13. Make your reservation fast, since Sbrocco's dinners fill up fast. The event starts at 6:30 p.m. with a reception, dinner will be served at 7 p.m. Tickets are $55 per person, or $100 for two. Here's the menu:
Brisket. Spiced Iowa brisket raviolis/ smoked tomato-molasses sauce/ parmigiano reggiano
Paired with: Long Strange Tripel
Oxtail Stew. Ale braised oxtail/ parsnips/ carrot/ pearl onions/ yukon potatoes
Paired with: The Sixth Glass Quadrupel Ale
Prime grade Ribeye. Charcoal grilled/ served family style/ medium rare/ grilled local asparagus/ 'Chicago style' creamed spinach
Paired with: Double Wide India Pale Ale
Dessert. Stanley Family steamed pudding/ salted caramel ice cream
