Show your raw passion this Valentine's Day
Get creative this holiday with a dinner and roses alternative.
The "Raw Passion" Vegan Valentine's Day Brunch features three innovative female chefs who have teamed up to create a gourmet, four course prixe fixe vegan meal that is also raw - fresh and uncooked. The fare is free of dairy, gluten, refined sugar and preservatives.
Presenting the meal will be Sheree Clark, a holistic health and nutrition counselor with a company she calls Fork in the Road, Cyd Koehn, who owns Catering by Cyd and is also affiliated with the Hy-Vee Conference Center and Kerri Rush (pictured), a proprietor of the Fresh Café and Market who grows wheatgrass that is sold in many locations throughout the city.
Tickets for the event are $35 and reservations are required.
Be sure to take advantage of this special offer: all who register for the Raw Passion brunch before Feb. 10 will receive a coupon for $25 off a one hour massage by Kevin Thoren.
