There's gonna be a brawl

A MaxFight'sDM Ballroom Brawl, that is. There's been a lot of buzz circling the third event, held this Friday at the Val Air Ballroom. The title bout matches up Ted Worthington (the local fav) with Rob Roy, who's been garnering national attention on WEC and Tapout broadcasts.

Perhaps the biggest interest lies in the women's fight between Emily Klinefelter and Nataly Jerez. Klinefelter was featured in yesterday's Des Moines Register, and she'll also be on KCCI's morning news on Friday. She's a 4.0 grad from the University of Iowa and has earned a master's degree. She also happens to be a professional boxer. (Her little sis, Katy, is too.)

Many of the fighters in Friday's event will travel from surrounding states, such as Eric Irvin, Alex White, and Mike Zaricor from Pilot Knob, MO, and Bruce Johnson (vs. Cory Simpson) and Andy Selvig (vs. Brad Floyd) from Lake City, MN.
