Halloween costumes: Recession Iron Man

Even billionaires are having to cut back. Tony Stark has ditched the iron for cheap and plentiful cardboard. He still kicks ass. He just has to be careful when it rains.
Total cost: $28.22 (for four rolls of electrical tape, women’s gardening gloves and reflectors. Boxes were free.)
How we did it: You’re going to need a lot of boxes and a lot of tape. Lay out the odd shaped portions first, like the “V” of the chest, then fill in the rest after that. Tape a reflector to your hand and one to your chest and you’re good to go.
Hardest part: Stretching the tape to make it go farther might seem like a good idea, but it will pull back to its original size and start peeling off and bunching up in odd spots. Also, buy three rolls of red tape. You need a lot.
