February 9, 2009The second annual Blue Ribbon Bacon Festival on Saturday, Feb. 28 at High Life Lounge and el Bait Shop promises to be an event of epic (and greasy) proportions that will be fondly remembered by hipsters for the rest of the year.
Major bummer: Tickets already are sold out.
That's where we came in, offering baconatics the chance to win tickets. We asked for your most creative use of bacon in a photo, and chose two winners, who each receive four tickets to the Blue Ribbon Bacon Festival.
Bart Schmidt won us over with his Motorhead-meets-bacon-whilst-in-a-frying-pan photo, and Bill Brinkman's birthday wish to his wife won the second set of tickets. Check out their photos and other entrants.
