This new "Fresh View" series is designed to give our team of photographers a chance to step back and concentrate on shooting quirkier, more unique photos that explain how they see the city, or that cover a particular event by connecting more directly with the personalities involved. So each photo gallery becomes more of a narrative and lets you spend quality time with interesting fellow Des Moines residents; and we provide handy links to local Web sites and photo subjects' personas on Twitter, Facebook, etc.
