Fresh View: Tina Wagner
Hi, I am Tina Wagner (@tinajeanphoto, tinajeanphotography.com) photojournalist, small business owner and eco-nut. I moved here from Chicago last fall when my fiancé's job with Marsh got transferred to Urbandale. When I first got here I felt as thought I had left my heart in Chicago. I was lost here in Des Moines, I didn't know where to eat, where to hang out or who with, I had lost all sense of who I was. Everyone told me look on the bright side, try to find places you like and meet people, but I just didn't know where to start and the snow just kept coming down, the historic winter seemed it would never end.
But slowly as the snow melted, I began to pick up the camera again, and became a freelance photographer for Juice. I began to have a truly "fresh view" of Des Moines.
