Lady Gaga took the No. 7 spot on Forbes magazine’s “World’s Most Powerful Women” list, so we figured we’d top that and let her (or at least a look-alike) grace the cover of our annual Halloween issue. Gaga will be one of the hottest costumes this year, so make sure you fine-tune the details of your costume before heading out — you’re going to have some competition.
To make this costume: Start with your favorite photo of the singer and work on re-creating the look piece by piece. Go fashionably hot like we did for our cover, or get crazy with Kermit, cheeky unitards and bubbles. We recreated a stage look with fishnets, a box-y dress (exaggerated with a stiff tutu underneath) and dark glasses (we glued gems on the side of one pair).
