Pledge to help The Nadas with 'Lovejoy Sessions'

The Nadas are using Pledge Music to fund their next album, "Lovejoy Sessions." After just around 24 hours they've raised 14 percent of their goal (unlike Kickstarter, Pledge Music doesn't specify exactly how much bands are seeking), so there's a good chance they'll end of meeting the goal.

How can you help them? By picking a level to pledge at. $15 gets you the CD, $20 gets you the CD signed. $65 gets you a handwritten lyric sheet, $300 gets you a songwriting session with the band. $5,000 gets you a house concert with the band.

So push one of your wealthy fans for a house concert, and then try to get yourself invited. Or invite your 5,000 closest fans over and charge them $2 each to get in. Profit!

Jason Walsmith said the band is seeking to use Pledge Music to fund everything about the album: recording, mixing, mastering, manufacturing, releasing and touring.

Another reason you should consider helping: The Nadas are giving 20% of the money they take in to Miracle Travel Works, which helps families travel to receive medical care.

The Nadas will host their 10th annual Nada Silent Night Dec. 1 at Hoyt Sherman Place. Tickets are $22.50 in advance through Ticketmaster.
