FX has reached an agreement with Louis C.K. to televise his latest standup special, Louis C.K. Live At the Beacon Theatre.
This is the special that C.K. released directly to consumers through his website for $5 apiece. The move was hailed as groundbreaking and game-changing because within 11 days after its release on Dec. 10, 2011, the one-hour special brought in more than $1 million.
The special will now premiere Saturday on FX at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
And Season 3 of his acclaimed comedy series Louie debuts on June 28 at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT.
