Howard Stern loves Matt Lauer so much he jumped into his lap and kissed him on the Today show this morning.
"You're a robot," Stern said at the start of the interview to rib Lauer, who just kept reading his Stern intro.
And then he called Matt "a phony" for not immediately agreeing Stern's the best judge on America's Got Talent.
But Stern was serious about his new America's Got Talent gig. "I'm a serious judge ... I'm not going on the show to disrupt the beauty of the show."
When Lauer asked if he will do it for a long time if it goes well, Stern said, "I'm using this as a stepping stone to the Supreme Court. I'll start my judgeship here and then move on to really important things."
