Emily Maynard will be the first single mom Bachelorette when she starts her love journey on May 14 at 9:31 p.m. ET.
ABC has just unveiled the 25 guys who will be wooing the North Carolina babe, once briefly engaged to Bachelor Brad Womack.
They include a race car driver (like Maynard's fiance Ricky Hendrick, who died in 2004 in a plane crash when Maynard was pregnant with their daughter), a mushroom farmer and a data destruction specialist. By the end of episode one, Maynard will have whittled the group down to 19.
And just as ABC is facing a discrimination, it appears at least one contestant is a man of color.
Here they are:
Aaron, 36, a biology teacher from Long Beach, Calif.
Alessandro, 30, a grain merchant from St. Paul
Alejandro, 25, a mushroom farmer from San Francisco
