Metromix DVD pick of the week:
"The Hangover Part II"
Stars: Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis, Ed Helms, Justin Bartha, Mike Tyson
In the follow-up to the surprise hit "The Hangover," Phil (Bradley Cooper, "The A-Team"), Stu (Ed Helms, "The Office") and Alan (Zach Galifianakis, "Bored to Death") are back for the cleverly titled "The Hangover Part II," and, yes, they're the three best friends that anyone could have.
Two years have passed since the infamous night of Doug's (Justin Bartha, "National Treasure") bachelor party in Sin City, and now the gentlemen are in Thailand for Stu's very own wedding to Lauren (Jamie Chung, "Sucker Punch"). Attempting to avoid drunken history repeating itself, Stu doesn't want any part of a bachelor party and insists on a pre-wedding brunch. This naturally leads to the wolf pack waking up in a shoddy Bangkok hotel with a monkey named Crystal and no clue where Stu's future brother-in-law has gone (just a piece of his finger remains).
By the end of the film, Ken Jeong ("Community"), Mike Tyson and photographic evidence of last night's blackout make appearances to wrap up hopefully the last of any bachelor parties for this wolf pack.
