Nielsens: Cable series, specials in spotlight

Ducky. A&E's Duck Dynasty quacked 6.5 million viewers for Wednesday's season finale, setting a new record audience for the cable network. Showtime's Dexter (2.6 million) and Homeland (2.4 million, both Sunday) also set series highs.

Isn't that special?NBC's Blake Shelton's Not So Family Christmas special claimed 8.9 million viewers behindThe Voice , on which he's a judge. CBS' Victoria's Secret Fashion Show (9.5 million viewers Tuesday) was down from last year's heights, but Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer (10.1 million Tuesday) was strong, and Wednesday's Grammy Nominations Concert (5.4 million) was in its typically low range.

Finales. CBS' The Amazing Race claimed 9.3 million viewers for Sunday's two-hour finale, down from 11.7 million for last fall's shorter finish. FX's Sons of Anarchy wrap-up (4.7 million Tuesday) was up from last December's 4.2 million.
