Things can't be too bad for Rosie O'Donnell, despite the end of her talk show on the Oprah Winfrey Network: She just bought an $8 million four-bedroom condo in Greenwich Village, according to The New York Post.
The pre-war building on West 12th Street used to be St. Vincent's Hospital but it's been turned into multi-million-dollar condos, so popular they sold out in less than a year, according to the paper.
Rosie's new pad has an outdoor space (always coveted in concrete Manhattan), while the building itself has environmentally friendly features such as a "green roof" and filtered air and water, plus its own customized wireless network.
O'Donnell, who announced her engagement to girlfriend Michelle Round in December, moved to Chicago to host her show on OWN, until that all came to tears earlier this year. She put her new, fully furnished Lakeview home in the Windy City on the market for $2.5 million in March, then returned to New York. She already has a home up the Hudson River in Nyack, N.Y., and has four children.
