Mach 5 with Speed Racer



While granting the Speed toy license to Hot Wheels probably seemed like a good idea, the resulting products are lackluster. The Speed action figure is as poorly produced as the unlicensed pirate toys sold at Santee Alley kiosks. Speed’s famous whip, the Mach 5, pales in comparison to the animation-inspired toys still produced in Japan. Our national shame continues.
