Where they filmed it: The house was built for the movie and demolished afterwards. It didn't meet local building codes.
What's on screen: After a car accident impairs her memory, housewife Claire (Michelle Pfieffer) hears some commotion next door between the neighbors. In an effort to do a good deed, she goes to see if anything is wrong, but gets no real answers—just a nasty spirit that follows her home. Pictures fall off the walls, doors start opening and closing on their own, and a dead woman surfaces in the bathtub. Of course as Claire starts to unravel the mystery, the plot gets thicker.
