Somewhere between "Jurassic Park" and "Land of the Lost" (which is to say, there are dinosaurs and people living side by side), "Terra Nova" is an ambitious, highly anticipated new drama executive produced by a man who knows a thing or two about our carnivorous dino-pals, Steven Spielberg. The series follows the Shannon family, who enter a temporal doorway into our planet's past to create a human colony in a less polluted, less populated Earth. It's kind of like the garden of Eden, except instead of snakes they'll have to contend with gigantic, flesh-eating dinosaurs.
