Sarah Paulson: Supporting actress, miniseries or movie
Sarah Paulson is up for playing Nicolle Wallace in HBO's Game Change, which stars fellow nominee Julianne Moore as Sarah Palin.
"I'm having a good morning, I have to say," says Paulson, sounding raspy while calling from the West Coast. "I'm in Los Angeles and shooting the second season of American Horror Story. I have no voice because I had to a lot of screaming yesterday. This is not excited Emmy voice. This is post-traumatic American Horror Story voice."
What did being a part of this film mean to her? "I paid close attention to the campaign. I read the book before filming. The behind the scenes stuff was so shocking to me. Being able to be a part of it feels very special to me. I feel very excited that I am being honored for playing a real person," she says.
Tonight, she's hitting the town. "First I have to go to work and do a nice scene. And tonight I will go out and probably have some champagne." -- Freydkin
