Like so many Irish actors, Jonathan Rhys Meyers is sometimes thrown into roles that demand he pretend to be British. He did a swell job of it on “The Tudors,” though; his sexed-up take on horndog Henry VIII was esentially a steady stream of gratuitous nudity.
