“I had worked with Screen Gems before, I knew they weren’t going to do something they weren’t fully supportive of. After meeting Steven and Christina, two of the most passionate people about this project, I just had a gut feeling we were going to be ok. After seeing the set and watching these dances, I knew that aspect of it was gonna be just perfect.
“When it came to telling the love story, [Christina and I] just instantly had this connection, we were comfortable being around each other. I had no worries that at the very least our love story was going to be truthful, honest and heartfelt.”
