Will Ferrell, “Old School” (2003)
The oversized man-child with a wickedly hilarious temper played everything from a condescending Alex Trebek to a confused George W. Bush and a flippant James Lipton on “Saturday Night Live.” Then Ferrell pulled a page from John Belushi’s big-screen book with his turn as Frank the Tank in “Old School”—a Home Depot-shopping husband who, when given the chance, reverts to keg stands and frat parties, leading the charge down Main Street as he strips off his clothes, obsessed with streaking the Quad. A sprinting naked man is funny, but it’s Ferrell’s utter commitment to the cause that really sets him apart.
