Q: What’s the most popular drink with bands at the Gas Lamp?
We sell a lot of PBR. Actually we sell the most PBR in the state of Iowa. It’s not my drink of choice; I prefer a Moscow Mule. I like ginger.
Q: What’s your favorite show you’ve seen at the Gas Lamp?
Imagine Dragons was such a big show. They just blew up a month after playing at the Gas Lamp. A band that we had in right when we opened was Archeology, and they were really good. I also like some of the more local bands, like Dylan Sires and Neighbors, who will be playing at our St. Pabst Street Party on Saturday.
Q: The St. Pabst party starts at 10 a.m. Do you have any endurance tips so people can make it to closing time?
We have a $20 all-you-can-drink special going on, which will make it worthwhile. Just come and party hard, I guess. It’s going to be a great day of music.
