The Brooklyn group MGMT
First Fleet Concerts has announced two shows with tickets going on sale this week.
Brooklyn duo MGMT, one of Rolling Stone's "Top 10 Artists to Watch in 2008" performs an all-ages show at People's Court Oct. 1. MGMT is opening for Beck on several dates this fall. Tickets for the 8 p.m. show will be $17. Take advantage of a special online ticket presale from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27. Password is "YOUTH."
San Francisco rocker Ben Kweller plays the Vaudeville Mews Oct. 12. Australian folk act Whitley opens the show. Tickets are $20.
Tickets for both shows go on sale to the public Friday through Iowatix.
