80/35 announces 20 more acts
Minneapolis hip hop act Atmosphere, former Drive-By Truckers guitarist Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit and Milwaukee indie act Jaill are among the 20 new acts the Des Moines Music Coalition has announced for the July 6-7 80/35 Music Festival in Western Gateway Park.
Also added to the bill are Useful Jenkins, Night Moves, Dumptruck Butterlips, Delta Rae and Now, Now, along with Iowa/former Iowa acts Pieta Brown, Christopher the Conquered, Dead Larry, Mantis Pincers, Bright Giant, Dustin Smith & The Sunday Silos, Derek Lambert & The Prairie Fires, The Sun Company, Tajh Washington, Brad Goldman, Jesse Jams and Jade Reed.
They join headliners Death Cab for Cutie and The Avett Brothers, Dinosaur Jr., Freddie Gibbs and others for the festival.

A few more bands will be added, but the line-up is more or less complete. Set times will be announced in early June. Tickets are currently $29 per day or $49 for both. Prices rise to $39 per day or $65 for two days on May 16. Tickets are available at midwestix.com.
