A Conquered Family Thanksgiving, Euforquestra's "Home for the Holidays"

Some info on a few upcoming holiday shows.

On Monday Christopher the Conquered hosts the annual A Conquered Family Thanksgiving starting at 7 p.m. at Mars Cafe. You can go and give thanks that Mars Cafe is open this fall while enjoying some good (and free) music. 

One event that did have to find a new home is Euforquestra's "Home for the Holidays" concert. The past two years it's been at People's, but this year it's moved to Wooly's for the Dec. 21 show. There will be a canned food drive, silent auction and donations accepted for The Food Bank of Polk County. Over the last two years the concerts have drawn in $6,000 in cash and 600 pounds of food. Maybe they can get that figure up over $10,000/1000 lbs with this year's show.

Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door.
