Last year's "American Idol" runner-up will play Sept. 3 at Simon Estes Amphitheater. It's hard to say if this or next week's Jeffree Starr show will be the guyliner-iest of the summer.
This is Lambert's second Iowa show this summer. He plays Thursday in Council Bluffs. Kris Allen, who bested Lambert, plays tonight in Iowa City.
Tickets are $32.50 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday through Midwestix.

It's an SA Presents show, Sam Summers and Amedeo Rossi are the promoters.
