Americana Unplugged Brunch on August 25th

Americana will host an Unplugged Brunch on August 25th, featuring a great breakfast paired with great local music. The event runs from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. that Saturday and will feature acoustic performances by Patrick Fleming, Dustin Harmsen, Danny Heggen, Dustin Smith and possibly others.

The hope is that musicians, bloggers, journalists and others involved in the music scene will attend, mingle and make connections, and that regular diners will get exposed to what's going on. By mentioning journalists, did I just obligate myself? Well, I do love a good breakfast.

If you tell your server that you support the Des Moines Music Coalition, 10% of your bill will be donated to the non-profit group.
