Black Flag, Euforquestra's 10th Anniversary show, WhiteWater Ramble and more at Wooly's
Recently two Black Flag reunions were announced, containing different members of the 80s punk band. One is calling itself Flag and features vocalist Keith Morris, bassist Chuck Dukowski, drummer Bill Stevenson and Descendents guitarist Stephen Egerton. The other is calling itself Black Flag and features guitarist Gregg Ginn, vocalist Ron Reyes, Gregory Moore and a TBA bassist.
The latter version will be performing at Wooly's on June 7. Tickets are $25 and go on sale Friday through ticketfly.com.
Des Moines will be getting a wealth of Greg Ginn, since he's also performing April 15 at The Gas Lamp as a part of Good for You and The Royal We.
Other shows announced for Wooly's:
Euforquestra will play a 10th anniversary show April 20. Tickets are $10 in advance through ticketfly.com.
WhiteWater Ramble plays April 22. Tickets are $10 and go on sale Friday through ticketfly.com.
Cornmeal plays on March 30. Tickets are $13 and go on sale Friday, also through Ticketfly.
Corey Smith plays May 2. Tickets are $17.50 through Ticketfly.
And the Overkill show scheduled for Sunday has been cancelled due to singer Bobby Blitz having walking pneumonia. You can get refunds from Ticketfly or the band who sold you a ticket, but all the opening acts, Dark Mirror Thee Annunaki, Green Death and Murder Earth, will still be playing. That show starts at 5:30 p.m. and admission is only $5.
