Black Keys at Val Air, moe. at Simon Estes and more

Normally these might get their own blog posts, but this is a crazy morning for music announcements. The next round of 80/35 announcements is still about half an hour away.

The Black Keys and The Morning Benders play the Val Air Ballroom Aug. 8 after their Lollapalooza dates. In addition to be awesome, the Black Keys' Dan Auerbach also produced Ames band Radio Moscow's debut album. Tickets are $25-$28 and go on sale Friday through Ticketmaster.

New York jammers moe. play the Simon Estes Amphitheater July 10. Tickets are $20 in advance and go on sale Friday through Midwestix.

A worth the drive show: Mat Kearney plays the Redstone Room in Davenport July 15. Tickets are $20 and go on sale Friday through Ticketmaster.

Rooney, a group fronted by Jason Schwartzman's brother, Robert, plays the Redstone Room Aug. 6, tickets are $16-$18 through Ticketmaster and go on sale Friday. Rooney plays the Vaudeville Mews Aug. 9. Tickets are $17 through Midwestix and go on sale Friday.
