Bon Jovi returning to Wells Fargo Arena

It was looking like Taylor Swift was going to be the first non-Trans-Seberian Orchestra band to play Wells Fargo Arena three times, but a late tour addition by Bon Jovi lets him claim that title. The band plays Wells Fargo Arena May 12.

Bon Jovi first played Wells Fargo Arena in Nov. 2005 (when The Nadas opened) and again in 2008. So it looks like we're on an every three year cycle. Since their last visit, the band released the album "The Circle" in 2009 and a greatest hits album last fall.

No word yet on ticket prices, but tickets for select shows (which might include Des Moines) go on sale Feb. 11. A portion of the tour's kick-off show Feb. 9 in Pennsylvania will be streamed live at bonjovi.com and the band's Facebook.
