Candlebox's 20th anniversary tour coming to Wooly's

Here's an interesting blast from the past. "Far Behind" act Candlebox will play Wooly's June 13 at part of the band's tour marking the 20th anniversary of "Candlebox."

That's a disc that was in my collection at one point. My grandparents gave it to me for my birthday one year, and I'm pretty sure the logic was "Joe has long hair, they have long hair. It's a perfect fit!" I'm sure they also gave me an awesome Sega Genesis game or something, so I won't complain too much. It sat in a draw for a year or so until a girl I liked said she liked the band, and I got to give her a gift AND get rid of it.

The band's fifth album, "Love Stories & Other Musings," came out last year. Tickets are $20 in advance and go on sale Friday through ticketfly.com.
