Comedian Doug Stanhope coming to Vaudeville Mews

Stand up comedy shows at smaller venues like Vaudeville Mews aren't unheard of, but they're far from the norm at the primarily music venue. There are exceptions, like when Doug Stanhope performs there on Sept. 11. 

Stanhope co-hosted "The Man Show" after Adam Corolla and Jimmy Kimmel left and hosted "Girls Gone Wild: America Uncovered." So in case you were wondering, yes his show is 100% family friendly.

I realize that sarcasm doesn't always translate to text, so I'll also point out that Stanhope was once subject to an article titled "Is This America's Most Depraved Man?"
