Counting Crows + Daytrotter = Barn of the 4th of July 2012

The Quad Cities music site Daytrotter is hosting its Barn on the 4th of July concert again this year (on July 4) in the Colfish Hollow Barn in Maquoketa, and you might not expect the headliner. Actually, since you probably read the headline, it's not much of a surprise.

It's The Counting Crows.

Counting Crows may not be the type of band you would associate with Daytrotter, but they did do a session with the website back in April.

Tickets to the show are $30 for Daytrotter members and $40 for non-members. Foreign Fields, Good Old War and Filligar are also on the bill.

Members can also stream the concert for free on the Daytrotter site.

Speaking of Counting Crows, they're also playing in downtown Cedar Rapids on July 26 during RAGBRAI. We are Augustines, Kasey Anderson, Honkies and Field Report open. Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 at the door.
