Dead Horse Trauma listening party on Locusic, free Gadema album

Des Moines metal band Dead Horse Trauma has a new CD coming out April 20, "Vi-Ops," but you'll be able to check it out two months early thanks to Locusic. 

The site will host a listening party for the album Feb. 17, streaming the album for 24 hours. Benny Black, host of "Iowa Unsigned" on 105.1, will host the event.

If your more into hip hop, Gadema's latest album, "The Brighter Side of Nowhere" is up as a free download on his Band Camp site. If you like it, you can always kick Gadema a few bucks for his trouble via the "Name Your Price" feature.
