Deck the Mars tonight, upcoming CD release shows for Madison Ray, Mint

I've been meaning to post about these shows for about a week. I have a breather, so I'm doing it now.

Tonight is the fifth annual Deck the Mars event, featuring the Seedlings. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. at Mars Cafe, and it's free. To get in the spirit, here's Seedlings playing "Here We Come A'Wassailing." 

"Stanque Pop" act Madison Ray and All the Single Ladies will release their debut album "Starship to Mars" next month. CD release shows are Jan. 3 at House of Bricks with Shady at Best and Jan. 4 at Wooly's with Deadnot, It's Complicated and The River Monks.

Mint will playa CD release show for its too-be-named debut album Feb. 1 at Wooly's. The band is calling it a CD release/birthday party, since all three of the band's members were born on Jan. 31 or Feb. 1. Katelyn Epperly and Dana Halferty both make appearances on the album.
