The Maha Music Festival in Omaha is something like their version of 80/35, organized entirely by volunteers. For the festival's fourth year it has announced Garbage, Desaparecidos, Josh Rouse and Icky Blossoms will play, with at least seven more to be announced in the next few weeks.

The next announcement is expected May 6. The festival will be held Aug. 11 at Aksarben Village in Omaha.

It's a Nebraska-heavy lineup this year. Desaparecidos is Conor Oberst's more punk-focused side project. The band broke up in 2002 and reunited in 2010 at the Concert for Equality concert.

Garbage is known for its 90s hits like "Only Happy When it Rains" and "Stupid Girl." The band also has a Nebraska connection: Duke Eriksen was born in Lyons, Nebraska.

Singer-songwriter Josh Rouse is from Paxton, Nebraska and made waves with his album "Dressed Up Like Nebraska."

Saddle Creek act Icky Blossoms will headline the local stage this year.

Tickets are $35 and on sale now through Etix.
