Guns N' Roses drummer at House of Bricks

Steven Adler, who drummed for Guns N' Roses from 1985-1990 and who was featured on the VH1 shows "Celebrity Rehab" and "Sober House," performs with his band Addler's Appetite June 26 at the House of Bricks. Hopefully he'll be more in "Appetite for Destruction" form than he was on those shows.

No word on ticket prices yet, local band Indigo opens the show.

Adler's VH1 appearances made me realize just how many reality show acts are making it through Des Moines this summer. Flavor Flav and Brett Michaels are responsible for 90% of VH1 programming thanks to the spin-offs of "Flavor or Love" and "Rock of Love," and they will be appearing at 80/35 and the Iowa State Fair, respectively. Coolio, also appearing at the Fair, has "Coolio's Rules" on Oxygen. "American Idol" finalist Amanda Overmyer performs at People's Court June 19.
