Tina Haase Findlay and Brandon Findlay. Sorry, Tina, I know you're not crazy about this pic.

Recently Jeff Blanchard of Mr. Baber's Neighbors decided to step down as host of the local music program Iowa Homegrown on 99.1 KFMG. The station reached out to a few people, looking for a new host and and ended up with more than they bargained for.

The program, which airs from 2-5 p.m. Sundays, will now have 11 hosts, who will rotate on different weeks (some are teams). Here they are:

Brian Joens (local singer-songwriter, host of "Dirt Road Radio")

Brian Holtz and Jillian Sonkson (Holtz is the lader of the Brian Holtz Band and also hosts KFMG Overnight, Sonkson hosts Mid-Day Music)

Rob Lumbard (local singer-songwriter)

Jason Walsmith (The Nadas)

Andy Fleming (Brother Trucker)

Dan Nissly (Pelican Peace Band, Iowa Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee)

Patrick Tape Fleming (Poison Control Center)

Tina Haase Findlay and Brandon Findlay (Bella Soul)

And Jeff Blanchard will remain in the mix.

That's a great mix of local musicians, representing varying aspects of the Iowa Music Scene. If you're not crazy about the type of local music one host plays, just wait a week.
