@Blackwell, You're right, I meant 2010 and 2011 there. Three Days Grace played an earlier slot in 2011, but co-headlined the 2010 show. @Danae, I may have been winding down, but there were similar comments on Lazer's Facebook page as well. Mother's Day was likely a factor as well.

"In 2010 and 2012 I felt that Lazerfest peaked with the second to last act, in those cases Three Days Grace and Stone Sour." Stone Sour didn't play in 2010, they played 2002 and 2011's. But you're right about people leaving, I left after Slash because, in my opinion, Shinedown and 5FDP shouldn't have headlined it. Don't get me wrong, they're great bands but......yeah. But Slash and Myles Kennedy were mind blowing. They stole the show.

Don't get me wrong, they're great bands, but.......yeah. Shouldn't have headlined. And I'd already seen them before a few times so I wasn't really missing out on anything. Slash and Myles Kennedy were brilliant.

Saying the crowd was winding down after 5fdp, is so lame....I drove 200 miles just for shinedown, people were leaving the grounds through out the day.......my guess is YOU were running out of go juice....and as for making the trek to Boone again next year....darned straight I would do it again....and numbers being down may have had something to do with the fact that it was MOTHER'S Day....had friends that were going to go until they realized that it was on Mother's Day....just saying that could have been one of the reasons for lower numbers....
