Morrissey's Clear Lake show is now on March 27

Morrissey's road to play the Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake has been epic. Here's a brief rundown.

Last June the former The Smiths frontman announced a show at The Surf Ballroom, which is not the typical type of venue for the new wave musician. The date was set for Oct. 30.

Just days before the concert, the date was rescheduled for Feb. 5 due to Moz's mom's health.

And shortly before that Feb. 5 show, Morrissey again postponed part of his tour, including the Clear Lake stop, due to a bleeding ulcer.

We have a new date once again, March 27. Let's hope this one sticks, or I'm going to start thinking Morrissey is just avoiding us. Iowa will not be ignored, Morrisey.

You can get tickets now, and previously purchased tickets will be honored. I would interested to see if any diehard fans bought new tickets each time for a memento from each supposed date.
