Night of the Living Dead tribute show at People's

The Mission Creek label (the people who put on the Mission Creek Festival) have announced a cool tribute show Night of the Living Dead Moines, scheduled for Oct. 26 at People's.

The show will feature local bands performing as other acts. The Poison Control Center will be playing David Bowie's "Ziggy Stardust," which seems kind of meta. It's a band performing as another band that performed as yet another band.

Volacno Boys will play as Nirvana.

Love Songs for Lonely Monsters will play as The Velvet Underground. I'll go ahead and put in my request for "After Hours" now.

There will also be a group called Red Poison Wolf Gun (members of Wolves in the Attic, Datagun, and Poison Control Center) performing a mystery set.

Admission is free if you have a $5 wristband to the Court District Halloween Party.
