Nitefall on the River acts announced

The initial lineup for this year's Nitefall on the River acts has been announced. The concert series is held every summer at the Simon Estes Amphitheater downtown. Last year there were at least a dozen concerts throughout the summer, so expect a few more soon:

May 26: Hairball. $20 in advance, $25 at the door

June 1: The Nadas with Steve Poltz. $15 in advance, $20 at the door.

June 12: Jimmy Cliff. $30 in advance, $35 at the door.

June 20: Bruce Hornsby & The Noisemakers with Cornmeal. $25 in advance, $30 at the door.

July 5: Yonder Mountain String Band. $20 in advance, $25 at the door.

July 26: BoDeans. $15.
